Hello! I'm Daniel Torres, a passionate Computer Science student with a strong foundation in Java and Python with some experience in web development. I'm currently pursuing my Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science at Cleveland State University, where I'm dedicated to expanding my knowledge and skills.

Over the course of my academic journey, I've built various projects that reflect my enthusiasm for problem solving and my ability to apply theoretical concepts in practical scenarios. I recently began my journey in AI. With a few other friends from CSU we created a chat app that can create teams with professional player data for the game known as Valorant.

In addition to my academic pursuits, I've been fortunate enough to gain practical experience in the workforce throughout my years in college. I'm currently working part time at Target as a Guest Advocate. I'm fortunate enough to intern at Oatey as an IT Infrastructure Systems Intern for the Summer of 2024. These roles have given me invaluable experiences, teaching me the importance of teamwork, communication, resilience, and a strong work ethic - traits that I bring to my programming projects.

Outside of my studies and work, I've taken on leadership roles as the in game leader of CSU's esports Valorant Team. These experiences have instilled in me a sense of responsibility, teamwork, and strategic planning. Beyond my programming expertise, I have a passion for photography. I love capturing moments and creatively expressing myself through visual media. My proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop has further enriched my photography skills, allowing me to professionally edit and enhance my photos. This skill set demonstrates my keen eye for detail, creativity, and the capacity to master technical tools attributes that are equally valuable in the world of programming.
